BF Law Website Redesign

Milad Boddoohi came to me for a complete redesign and modernisation of the Boddoohi & Friedlander LLP website. I refined the branding and colour scheme to suit the new direction, then designed and developed a Framer site with smooth scroll animations and transitions carrying visitors between sections.

The project

The project

Milad Boddoohi came to me about Boddoohi & Friedlander LLP, his New York law firm, with a clear brief: the old site had to go. This was a redesign and modernisation job from the ground up, because the firm had outgrown what it inherited, and the work they were winning deserved a presence to match.

I designed and developed the whole site in Framer, and along the way made changes to their branding and colour scheme so the identity worked properly with the new direction. The result leans bold rather than conservative: coral-red against near-black, oversized condensed headlines, and cut-out photography of the partners front and centre.

The firm advise clients in New York City and the Hudson Valley through any transaction or dispute, covering real estate, business and corporate, construction, and litigation. Each of those practice areas gets its own section, alongside a news feed for their court wins and press coverage, team bios, and a contact section with the enquiry form and both office locations.

It is a project I am genuinely proud of, particularly the motion: smooth scroll animations and transitions between every section that make a dense, information-heavy legal site feel considered and easy to move through. Milad was over the moon with it.

The opportunity

The opportunity

Boddoohi & Friedlander LLP advise clients across New York City and the Hudson Valley on real estate, business, construction and litigation matters. Their existing website no longer matched the standing of the firm, or the kind of work they were winning. Milad wanted something modern and genuinely confident: a site that could carry the weight of a serious practice, make four very distinct areas of law easy to navigate, and finally give the firm’s court wins and press coverage somewhere to live.

The thinking

The thinking

Milad knew what the firm had outgrown, so we got straight into direction. Rather than simply rebuilding what was there, I pushed the branding further than the brief asked for, tightening the colour scheme to a sharp coral-red against near-black so the identity could hold a bolder, more editorial layout. Big condensed headlines, cut-out photography of the partners, and plenty of contrast gave the firm a presence closer to a brand campaign than a traditional legal website.

Structurally, everything was planned as one considered journey. Practice areas, news, team and contact all sit on a single page, so a prospective client never has to hunt for the thing that brought them there. Motion was planned from the start rather than added at the end: smooth scroll animations and transitions between sections keep the pace deliberate and make the density of legal information feel calm instead of heavy.

What I created

What I created

A fully designed and developed Framer website, built around four clearly separated practice areas: Real Estate, Business & Corporate, Construction, and Litigation. Each one leads with a bold statement and breaks the firm’s services into scannable cards, so a developer, a co-op board or a business owner can immediately see themselves in the right section.

Beyond the practice areas, I built a news feed with load more for the firm’s victories and press mentions, team profiles with expandable bios for the partners, associates and paralegals, and a contact section pairing an enquiry form with both the Rockefeller Plaza and Kingston office details. Scroll animations and section transitions run throughout, with the refined colour scheme and typography applied consistently across every page element.

The outcome

The outcome

Milad was over the moon with it, which is the reaction you always want but rarely get to quote directly. The firm now has a website that looks like the practice it actually is, and a structure the team can keep adding wins and news to without needing me every time.

Client Review

What the client said

“Samuel is truly a professional. This is the second website he has done for me, and he has, yet again, knocked it out of the park. He not only listens to your feedback, but takes creative leaps and gives you things you did not even know you needed. It's really reassuring as a business owner to know your website--your brand--are in good hands. And with a website, you don't always know how it can be improved. But Samuel does! Highly recommend!”
